Cobra schnaps

Here’s a drink that you can propose a memorable toast with. I particularly love the detail where the cobra is holding a smaller snake in it’s mouth. The drink was found a vietnamese liquor store.

I wonder if anyone has ever actually drank this stuff?

Sorry to say but these Cobra Scnhaps are fake. I was in the NAM last year and these tourist goodies were all over the place. Fortunately, I was in Okinawa, Japan last week where they bottle pit vipers in their famous sake, Habu-shu.

    check it out:

I brought two home. Greatest souvenir known to man.

i’ve tried the same bottle before and it’s spicy and pretty strong. but very smooth with a nice kick when u need the buzz!!! i’ve also tried the bottles with the scorpions in ’em also. these are very nice collectors bottles. priced pretty high though, about $100+ where i found ’em. don’t know if they’re real but friends say they are?

The drink is real and also can be found in Thailand. Now if the shown bottle in this pic are real, I don’t think so. I don’t think that the stuff they sell to tourist is real either.

It is usually home made and not sold with a snake in the bottle. To get the real thing you need to hunt your own snake!
