Philippines , Cambodia, Vietnam all share the same delicacy. Sometimes duck sometimes chicken… I’d love to try except for fear that i would get diarrhea if its not fresh

Read Omnivore’s Dilemma by Michael Polan before yall haters start judging other’s people’s cultures and food. The way we treat our livestock is inhumane. The way pate is made is inhumane. Fur coats, goose feather pillows… At the very least, people eat duck eggs for nutrients as opposed to fashion.

I tasted it tonight, actually the taste is very fresh and a little sweet, you don’t really feel the adding of sugar. Yet i did not finish it, the consistency of the drink worried me and just after i first tried it, my friend told me it was made of bird’s nest. Moreover “fungus” was written on the can, among the drink’s ingredients so i guess i couldn’t get it out of my mind.

The bird’s nest is usually harvested after the Swiftlets are “done” with their nests. That is they have laid their eggs and the nestlings are old enough to leave the nests. And yes, bird’s nest by itself is tasteless until some rock sugar or honey is added. It is good for hydration of the skin, boosts the blood circulatory system and is good for curing the simple cold and influenza. So ya, it’s considered a delicacy. =)

Hmmmmm..! It’s really good..! You have to be skill to make thus dish..! Not anyone could make it..! Y’all just scared cause use to frozen food or any fast food..! This is fresh as it get..! This my home country..! We are just spoiled..! Go to Vietnam and then talk..! I bet it be different..!
